Our recently updated self-catering castle apartment has a warm cosy feel ensuring you have a comfortable stay all year round. 400 year old Menstrie Castle is steeped in history as it was once owned by Sir William Alexander, the 1st Earl of Stirling in the early 1600s. Part of the ground floor in the castle is now a museum and shop run by the National Trust for Scotland. The surrounding area is filled with many wonderful attractions including lochs, castles, mountain and glen. It is ideal for a family or for those who want to explore Scotland, fish, hill walk, play golf, or shop. So if you are looking for an ideally placed holiday location you will not be disappointed.
