For those in search of the real Ireland - wild country, beautiful mountain scenery, lovely beaches, top-class accommodation, fly fishing for salmon in crystal rivers, superb food and total peace - come to Delphi in Connemara.
The Delphi Estate is one of Ireland's hidden treasures. Set in a spectacular, unspoilt valley and surrounded by Connacht's highest mountains, it is the perfect hideaway.
Formerly the sporting playground of the Marquis of Sligo in the early 19th century, Delphi has been completely restored in recent years and offers first class facilities.
At the heart of the Estate stands Delphi Lodge, arguably Ireland's finest sporting lodge. A delightful country house in a lakeside setting, the Lodge provides luxurious accommodation for those in search of comfort, character and real tranquility.
Nearby, the Delphi Cottages afford a charming alternative for those who prefer to look after themselves a little more. The five cottages combine a cosy, traditional atmosphere with 20th century comforts.
Last but not least, the Delphi Fishery - a chain of beautiful lakes and one of Ireland's prettiest rivers - offers top quality flyfishing for salmon and sea trout.
Though wonderfully secluded, Delphi is within easy striking distance of a number of other attractions - beautiful empty beaches, championship golf courses, horse riding, and all the sights of Mayo and Connemara
