    When you rent a Castle, you become temporary custodian of a piece of history. You are doing more than just renting a holiday home, you are writing yourself into the story of an important historical monument.

    Why is dealing directly with owner important?

    Every castle is unique, it is important to understand it’s characteristics. You should be able to communicate freely with someone who knows the property intimately.

    Most castles are set up to take direct payments. You will usually save money if you go direct.

  • ABOUT THE CASTLE RENTAL NETWORK

    The Castle Rental Network is a network of owners of Castles and large historic properties who help fund the restoration and maintenance of their wonderful buildings by making them available for short term rental.

    It was set up in 1999 by castle owners in Ireland.

    We allow castle owners to create their own listings.
    We provide an easy way to view and compare all the properties. If you find a property that suits your needs, you can message the owner through our contact form.

    We have no part in the booking process, that is all done directly with the owner/manager. We take no responsibility for the accuracy of the information in the listings.
