The house itself, while large and imposing, from within retains the feel of a warm and welcoming family home, with central heating in all rooms and tasteful decorations. It normally accommodates 16 people in 8 bedrooms with a combination of double, twin and "zip and link" beds which can be either. Two of the largest bedrooms can easily accommodate additional beds to form family rooms, if required, bringing the number up to 20 One bedroom with an en suite shower room is on the ground floor, four on the first floor and three on the top floor. There are 4 additional bath/shower rooms, some of which can be en suite if preferred. There is a gigantic farmhouse kitchen/breakfast room with four oven Aga and an additional electric double oven with hob, microwave, dishwasher, American fridge freezer and washing machine.
The drawing room is light and airy, with french windows to the garden, comfortable seating and an open fire, the dining room seats up to 18, has an open fire and an upright piano (of the "honky- tonk" variety!). The grand entrance hall has the main staircase leading off and a separate downstairs W.C. On the lower level is a vast cellar, used as a games room, with the original wine bins (to store your wine in correct conditions) and a full sized billiard table.
Outside, there are extensive lawns and parkland, and a barbecue area with gazebo, offering uninterrupted views across to the sea.
