Château du Raysse

The Château is available for exclusive hire for family holidays, weddings and events.

The Château offers 15 comfortable en-suite rooms as well as a two bedroom apartment. There are two swimming pools, gorgeous grounds, two kitchens, grand hall, dining hall, library, patios, balconies and much more. We can comfortably sleep 38 guests.

A charming château, full of character, you and your party will enjoy private en-suite rooms, filled with heaps of period features. The views from the rooms are simply breath-taking, looking over the beautiful rolling hills and green forests. All basic amenities are included to make your stay comfortable and you will have complete and exclusive access to the estate during your stay.

The facilities include one large, modern kitchen which is fully equipped with ovens, hobs, fridges, freezers, washing machine and plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. There is also a smaller kitchen to use. There is a comfortable library – with its own adjoining bar – perfect for a cosy drink in one of the comfy armchairs. There is also a dining area, which you are welcome to use. In the adjoining Maison there is a large hall which you can also access and is a great area for games and socialising.

On the estate there are two swimming pools, surrounded by sun loungers, and plenty of grounds to explore.

The area is simply stunning and is within easy reach of Sarlat and Rocamadour as well as all the other local tourist attractions.

There is ample parking on site.

If you did need extra accommodation for additional guests, we’re lucky enough to have lots of hotels and excellent Airbnb accommodation all nearby. There are numerous other properties in the village which are available on Airbnb and there are some lovely hotels in Souillac which is just five minutes away. In addition, there is a pretty campsite a fifteen minute walk from the Château or you may even wish to choose to have glamping tents in the grounds of the Château itself.
