Listing Description

A long winding drive through ancient woods and deer pastures brings you to the enormous front door of this splendid Georgian mansion. A warm welcome, afternoon tea by the open fire and the hospitality of the owners create an atmosphere that is special to Coopershill.

The family home to 8 generations of the O’Hara’s was built in 1774 and is in immaculate condition. The 14 foot high ceilings, bright, spacious bedrooms and original antiques at every turn will take your breath away.

Dinner is a highlight served at candle lit tables set with family silver and crystal. Ingredients straight from our own vegetable and fruit gardens produce wonderfully fresh flavours.

This is the land of W.B. Yeats with mountains, lakes and megalithic ruins along with Championship golf courses, beaches and fishing just a short drive away. But the best place to be is on the 500 acre estate at Coopershill with delightful paths through the woods and deer pastures.
