Hidden away among dairy farms in the heart of the Golden vale region, Fanningstown Castle is just a stone’s throw away from Ireland’s prettiest village – Adare – and an easy 30 minute drive from Shannon Airport so perfect for short breaks from Europe as well.
Steeped in Medieval history, Fanningstown Castle is the ideal place for family vacations or reunions, group of friends wanting to spend a few days away together or couples in search of a secluded romantic hideaway.
We also host small, intimate blessing wedding ceremonies and vow renewals with up to 8 of your closest family or friends but please note that all celebrations must be arranged with Mary prior to reserving the castle.
