This magnificent 17th century castle, large and comfortable, with refined decoration, is surrounded by a huge park, with swimming pool and tennis court. A large family home for 22 people, warm and charming, in Dordogne, at the crossroads of many touristic and gastronomic places that make the region so famous.
The Castle offers on the ground floor several reception rooms, including a huge wood paneled library and a small more intimate lounge, a spacious dining room with very warm atmosphere, a majestic entrance hall with a huge stone staircase, a main kitchen and its back kitchen well equipped, and toilets.
On the upper floors, 9 charming rooms (4 with washbasin), 4 bathrooms, and 4 separated toilets are distributed in the 1500m² of the castle. Among the 9 bedrooms, 7 offer Queen or King size beds (160, 180 and 200 cm), and 2 offer 3 single beds.
The Orangery overlooks the park and the castle. Recently renovated into an independent house, it offers a large living-dining room, 2 bedrooms (Queen size beds 160 cm), 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets and a kitchen.
The very large French park of several hectares on the terrace allows everyone to isolate themselves to read or rest in the shade of century-old lime trees, or instead gather around large garden tables for lunches and dinners.
In a fenced area, a tennis court and a pool of 11 m x 5 (protected by a tarpaulin) occupy the whole day young and less young alike, as well as the endless games of petanque, croquet, badminton, toboggan and swings …
Adult and children bicycles and even a tandem allow rides on small country roads. In bad weather, you’ll have the choice between ping pong room, table football, board games, DVD …
On request, daily or occasional cleaning and catering services (fresh and local produce) are available, for a total holiday experience!
