Schloss Ernegg

Schloss Ernegg is a beautiful 12th Century castle belonging to the Auersperg family. It is located in the heart of Austria and available for exclusive hire whether it be for weddings, special celebrations, or simply as a quiet retreat. It is the perfect place to escape and relax, as well as the ideal venue to entertain both corporate clients and personal friends. There is an in‐house events team who will work closely with you, giving considered advice and support for all your needs and requirements. They will help make your dream event come to life.

The history that a visitor to Schloss Ernegg is surrounded by makes for an utterly unique experience. The elegant public rooms are much as they were when this was a private house; large, luxuriously comfortable and a perfect place to either rest with a delicious glass of wine or dance the night away.

The castle sleeps 50 people, with an extra 30 beds for larger parties. Accommodation is divided over three floors and into suites and double rooms, most of which have en-suite bathrooms. All rooms are large, individually designed and decorated with family antiques, portraits and memorabilia from centuries gone by.
There is also additional accomodation in various small cottages located a few minutes walk from the castle.

For those who love golf, Schloss Ernegg has two excellent courses. A challenging 9 hole course behind the castle boasting incredible views and a 18 hole Championship course in the Erlauf Valley directly below the castle.
